Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ariel Nel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pomelo Nenene from getting a goal against them. Cleto Indalecio scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anthony Di Sipio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Nel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Diego Arioli. Enzo Di Marzio hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Deportivo Pomelo Nenene got a freekick which was hit by Damian Damario. Ariel Nel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Diego Arioli.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Indalecio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match Diego Arioli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ariel Nel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jose Abalos fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's protests and gave Jose Abalos a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Abalos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Felice Lancia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Supremacy Catania FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felice Lancia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
