Ettore Graziani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Håland in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Azul Y Plomo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Roberto Aliceda hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Supremacy Catania FC's Biagio Di Matteo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With a little luck, Azul Y Plomo's Hidalgo Barrionuevo got control of the ball when Aurelio Pari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hidalgo Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Arioli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Supremacy Catania FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azul Y Plomo the free kick. Emiliano Bassani kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 55th minute, Fausto Grande made a precise shot to the right of Hidalgo Barrionuevo. The supporters of Azul Y Plomo booed when Supremacy Catania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Di Sipio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Roberto Aliceda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azul Y Plomo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Aliceda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Fabio De Luca notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Azul Y Plomo's Hidalgo Barrionuevo. Hidalgo Barrionuevo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Roberto Aliceda made a precise shot to the right of Ettore Graziani. Supremacy Catania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-3. Ettore Graziani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Cevallo's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 87th minute, Francisco Carabia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Cevallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ettore Graziani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Grande came free, but Hidalgo Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
