In the 5th match minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Montel to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, one of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Pomelo Nenene. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Samurai Champions FC. Renan Sena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ariel Nel. 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match, Jeferson Amaral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ariel Nel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Severino Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Aureo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ariel Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Amaral in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Jeferson Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Nel. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeferson Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 26 minutes of play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Valentin Aureo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexsandro Netto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ariel Nel was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Renan Sena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Renan Sena really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 32nd match minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Indalecio to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Nel was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Leopoldo Velasco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leopoldo Velasco really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. In the 44th minute Jeferson Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeferson Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Leonardo Lluciano hit a great ball. In the 51st minute of the match João Augusto Luz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ariel Nel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Jeferson Amaral put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ariel Nel. Ariel Nel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeferson Amaral went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ariel Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Velasco in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 minutes, Jeferson Amaral made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ariel Nel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cosme Shantala hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Amaral came free, but Ariel Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cauã Arantes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Nel having to make a save. Davi Loureiro hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Samurai Champions FC fully deserved thier win.
