Lars Molander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Fernendo in the 16th minute of play. Lars Molander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Magdaleno's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Fernendo in the 40th minute of play forced Vejbystrand's goalkeeper Lars Molander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vejbystrand's Lars Molander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Fernendo in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 minutes, Magne Linqvist made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Roman Kismi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Magne Linqvist made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Erik Asserlindh kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Magne Linqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Roman Kismi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eustacio Hitz hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Erasmo Fernendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vejbystrand's Magne Linqvist in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Elliott Torsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliott Torsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vejbystrand's Elliott Torsberg got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The long shot by Eustacio Hitz in the 94th minute really tested Lars Molander's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vejbystrand walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
