In the 15th match minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Gherase to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely defense, Jarl Kalfhage kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihail Gheție. The Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihail Gheție should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Kalfhage came free, but Mihail Gheție reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Cantemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Lars Molander made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magne Linqvist in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihail Gheție saved Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely from getting behind. Calistrat Baicea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Molander having to interfere. Vejbystrand's Bengt-Arne Smed was substituted for Jarl Kalfhage. In the 80th minute, Calistrat Baicea made a precise shot to the right of Lars Molander. Vejbystrand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 86 minutes, Bengt-Arne Smed mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vejbystrand and the Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vejbystrand getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bengt-Arne Smed hit a great ball.
