An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Hergot in the 18th minute of play forced Rasnita's goalkeeper Șerban Iacobeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislav Hergot hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Chirculescu got free with Tomáš Lackovič in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gelu Tăzlăuanu sped through JuSi Malacky's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomáš Lackovič. Tomáš Lackovič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Manea in the 31st minute of the match. JuSi Malacky's Tomáš Lackovič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save JuSi Malacky from getting a goal against them. After 35 minutes of play, JuSi Malacky's Antón Bebiak made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Șerban Iacobeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to JuSi Malacky getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ladislav Bulej hit a great ball. Radovan Švehla kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Toman made a kick off. Antón Bebiak charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antón Bebiak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of JuSi Malacky booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Manea didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Lackovič prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Radovan Švehla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Șerban Iacobeanu. That made the score 3-4 in the 75 minute of play. Șerban Iacobeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Hergot in the 79th minute of the match. Radovan Švehla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Șerban Iacobeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Șerban Iacobeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Toman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antón Bebiaks short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Șerban Iacobeanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Stanislav Hergot managed to get in a good position for a shot. JuSi Malacky's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislav Hergot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Șerban Iacobeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
