Wellington Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Jakue in the 12th minute of the match. Wellington Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Sandalio in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Sandalio in the 14th minute of play forced SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper Wellington Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Domingos Sandalio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Wellington Donatello. Wellington Donatello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when SUPERSTAR - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SUPERSTAR - DMZ getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Luciano Matos hit a great ball. Juniors FC's Cayetano Jakue got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuca Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the SUPERSTAR - DMZ defense, Cayetano Jakue kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wellington Donatello. The SUPERSTAR - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellington Donatello should have stopped the shot. Candido Rencio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Guzman during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 minutes Juniors FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Macario managed, with a little bit of luck, save Luciano Matos's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. After some careless play in the Juniors FC defense, Luciano Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Macario. The Juniors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Macario should have stopped the shot. Wellington Donatello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Sandalio went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, SUPERSTAR - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Paes to maneuver through the defense. Cayetano Jakue took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wellington Donatello. Wellington Donatello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when SUPERSTAR - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Samuca Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Jardel Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Matos. Wellington Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SUPERSTAR - DMZ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mário Medeiros hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Domingos Sandalio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wellington Donatello, 1-6. Juniors FC played a much better game than SUPERSTAR - DMZ and deserved their victory. The SUPERSTAR - DMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
