Tomáš Omasta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Guilabertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Enzo Ostadar was a little too slow when Stano Grman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 21st minute, Stano Grman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Delmiro Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Omasta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stano Grman, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 33 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Gaizko came free, but Tomáš Omasta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ján Ďurica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Narciso Guilabertus got a free kick in the 38th minute. Stano Grman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stano Grman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ŠK Horelica booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos-Mario Monclús didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stano Grman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enzo Ostadar. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Enzo Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stano Grman in the 58th minute of play. Enzo Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stano Grman in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Stano Grman came free, but Enzo Ostadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Vašáry in the 77th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Mario Monclús to maneuver through the defense.
