If 莫康凌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Villarreal FK's goal looked a bit too open when 梅扬榕 came free, but Marián Vrabec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, 何银鸿 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marián Vrabec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If 韩常斌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miroslav Turanec kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to WOLVES FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. 徐霆斌 hit a great ball. The referee ignored Villarreal FK's protests and gave Miroslav Turanec a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Villarreal FK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Miroslav Turanec hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 何银鸿 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, 何银鸿 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marián Vrabec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Marián Vrabec made an important save on a dangerous shot by 梅扬榕 in the 57th minute. Marián Vrabec made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when 莫康凌 sent off a good shot on target. Marián Vrabec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 何银鸿's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match, 莫康凌 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marián Vrabec was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65th minute of the match, 梅扬榕 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marián Vrabec saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 67 minutes into the match, Villarreal FK's goalkeeper Marián Vrabec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 何银鸿. Marián Vrabec made an important save on a dangerous shot by 何银鸿 in the 68th minute. 梅扬榕 made a great header on WOLVES FC's corner, it was just that Villarreal FK's Marián Vrabec managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Stupala in the 85th minute of play forced WOLVES FC's goalkeeper 任适战 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 梅扬榕 scored 0-8 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marián Vrabec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 韩常斌 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marián Vrabec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 康义振 hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match Jergus Kuna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 任适战 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded WOLVES FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Villarreal FK.
