Percival Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bengt Felin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Ingmar Brask left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind AIF's goalkeeper Bengt Felin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonas Ståhlman hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elano Martins to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Elano Martins took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Bengt Felin to make any attempt to save it. With 30 minutes on the clock, Alex Hermes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Gert Kjellbom didn't quite understand what happened when in the 32 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Luís Eduardo Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luís Quintal might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt Felin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingmar Brask to make the kick off. Valdemar Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Brask in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingmar Brask in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Moreira saved Jacuitiba - FSCMZ from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in AIF's zone, Luís Eduardo Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Felin came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AIF's Bengt Felin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Trevisan in the 63rd minute of play. Otto Hamberg kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Santana struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Bengt Felin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacuitiba - FSCMZ. In the 77th minute Pedro Luís Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Felin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's José Pedro Costa got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute of the match, Fabian Kråk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valdemar Moreira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Otto Hamberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valdemar Moreira, 1-3. Bengt Felin came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Luís Eduardo Santana. But to his dismay, Luís Eduardo Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.
