With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmund Alstedt in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marián Vrabec saved Villarreal FK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Alstedt in the 15th minute of play forced Villarreal FK's goalkeeper Marián Vrabec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otto Hamberg's late challenge caught a Villarreal FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otto Hamberg helped the player get up and apologised. Otto Hamberg hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AIF's Tim Billing got control of the ball when Eugen Klingáčik tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 23 in the game by Stanislav Stupala from a close distance when the talented Tim Billing managed to make a qualified save. AIF's players were relieved. Marián Vrabec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Alstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Villarreal FK's Peter Seman got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes, Bengt-Arne Stabbe made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Villarreal FK's Marián Vrabec tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmund Alstedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viktor Molander kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Edmund Alstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund Alstedt took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marián Vrabec. Marián Vrabec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Villarreal FK's Marián Vrabec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Villarreal FK from getting a goal against them. After having played for 73 minutes, Eugen Klingáčik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villarreal FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugen Klingáčik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miroslav Vozár during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Villarreal FK got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Vozár. Ingmar Brask could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Marián Vrabec made a huge save. With a little luck, Villarreal FK's Marián Vrabec got control of the ball when Bengt-Arne Stabbe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tim Billing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Močarník in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Ingmar Brask left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the final whistle sounded AIF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Villarreal FK.
