Evert Ahlerot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Lucas Iven made a huge save. After 8 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Greger Hedlund. In the 9th minute Jorre Sproten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klas Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Binjamin Stuycken put in a rough tackle. 17 minutes into the game, Karel-Jan Gheysen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winksele 2016's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC NILS the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Winksele 2016 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel-Jan Gheysen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Winksele 2016's Jorre Sproten got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Jorre Sproten struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Klas Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winksele 2016. In the 31st minute, Daniel Vesterberg made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Iven. Winksele 2016's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Klas Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorre Sproten in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Ahlkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Greger Hedlund hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Daniel Vesterberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC NILS's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Vesterberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Iven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Klas Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorre Sproten in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Daniel Vesterberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Iven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Henrik Gallin got a free kick in the 66th minute. FC NILS made a substitution. Thomas Näver replaced Josef Stenqvist. Henrik Gallin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Klas Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorre Sproten, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute Jorre Sproten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klas Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Iven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Skoog in the 75th minute of play. Lucas Iven came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by FC NILS's Andreas Skoog. But to his dismay, Andreas Skoog quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Greger Hedlund got a free kick in the 79th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Andreas Skoog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC NILS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Skoog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Winksele 2016's Lennart De Coster got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Andreas Skoog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC NILS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Skoog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorre Sproten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Klas Åberg. That made the score 3-1 in the 91 minute of play. The FC NILS players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
