FC NILS's Klas Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Guerreiro in the 3rd minute of play. When Leif Ahlkvist fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC NILS's protests and gave Leif Ahlkvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Julião Barcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klas Åberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 19 minutes, Jacinto Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Fura Balizas and the FC NILS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacinto Rodrigues hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. FC Fura Balizas's Jacinto Rodrigues got his second yellow card of the match in the 22nd minute. The referee ordered Jacinto Rodrigues off the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Fura Balizas's Jacinto Rodrigues got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Tobias Paixão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Vesterberg in the 24th minute of the match. Klas Åberg was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Vítor Sabrosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vítor Sabrosa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Klas Åberg made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Julião Barcelos sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 35 minutes, Julião Barcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fura Balizas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julião Barcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goalkeeper Klas Åberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Guerreiro. Klas Åberg made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Julião Barcelos sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

A collision led to FC NILS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Karl Arvidsson hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, FC Fura Balizas's Julião Barcelos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klas Åberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Henrik Gallin made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Fura Balizas's José Guarda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Sabrosa in the 68th minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Klas Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Julião Barcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klas Åberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Julião Barcelos took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klas Åberg. Klas Åberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Klas Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julião Barcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Julião Barcelos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Klas Åberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Gustavo Gameiro replaced José Guarda. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Fura Balizas fully deserved thier win.
