Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Quintanilha in the 3rd minute of play forced Jardim Botânico's goalkeeper Ademar Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademar Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Azenha, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When João Caneira fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matos Velhos's protests and gave João Caneira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Matos Velhos getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. João Caneira hit a great ball. After 6 played minutes Matos Velhos got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Azenha. 8 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Cruz came free, but Bruno Caldeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Nuno Guerra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ademar Leme skillfully saved the ball. After 11 played minutes Jardim Botânico got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Valle. Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Quintanilha in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jardim Botânico defense, Leandro Azenha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Leme. The Jardim Botânico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Leme should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Jardim Botânico booed when Matos Velhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Gonçalo Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Leandro Azenha made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Pedro Paulo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademar Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Azenha's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 31stth minute of the game Leandro Azenha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Armindo Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Bruno Caldeira throw himself and got hold of the ball when Pedro Paulo Cruz in the 36thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Tião Secco hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Leandro Azenha, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ademar Leme came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Matos Velhos's Isac Pinto. But to his dismay, Isac Pinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ademar Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Isac Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ademar Leme made a huge save. Leandro Azenha in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ademar Leme, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ademar Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Guerra in the 80th minute of the match. Ademar Leme made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Leandro Azenha sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Matos Velhos's Leandro Azenha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ademar Leme. That made the score 0-6 after 83 minutes of play. Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Pinto in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Nuno Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matos Velhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Serginho Hoffmann notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Matos Velhos's Bruno Caldeira. Bruno Caldeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matos Velhos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
