When Armindo Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matos Velhos's protests and gave Armindo Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Matos Velhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Caldeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Hagensted in the 7th minute of the match. Bruno Caldeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Dærup's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Alfred Dærup who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Caldeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Robin Hagensted took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bruno Caldeira to make any attempt to save it. Bruno Caldeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Dærup in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Matos Velhos defense, Robin Hagensted kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Caldeira. The Matos Velhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Caldeira should have stopped the shot. Strib Galacticos IF's Robin Hagensted got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Dærup in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Caldeira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 28th minute, Viggo Rungsø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Caldeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Dærup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alfred Dærup fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strib Galacticos IF's protests and gave Alfred Dærup a yellow card for diving instead. Rikardt Kjeldsvig came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Matos Velhos's Joaquim Vilhena. But to his dismay, Joaquim Vilhena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Hagbard Crans hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Bruno Caldeira made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Alfred Dærup sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Matos Velhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Quintanilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Azenha made a kick off. Robin Hagensted took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Caldeira. Bruno Caldeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 66th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walther Mackeprang to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Caldeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Dærup in the 70th minute of play. Bruno Caldeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Dærup, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes, Alfred Dærup made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Matos Velhos's Bruno Caldeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Caldeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Dærup in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Marcos Quintanilha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rikardt Kjeldsvig. Strib Galacticos IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Quintanilha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. 88 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's Alfred Dærup sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Caldeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90thth minute of the game Alfred Dærup who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matos Velhos's Bruno Caldeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Alfred Dærup ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Caldeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Strib Galacticos IF had won after a very even match.
