Demjan Yatsyk came out and tried to block the shot, but Walmyr Proença slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Artem Berezovchuk came free, but Maurinho Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmyr Proença was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Walmyr Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danylo Gusak made a kick off. When Benedito Severo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reko-Recko 03™'s protests and gave Benedito Severo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Benedito Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danylo Gusak got free with Maurinho Lima in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Philadelphia Union FC's Demjan Yatsyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vavá Recko in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Reko-Recko 03™ got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Paraense.
