Joonatan Pahasoo might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Nesto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joonatan Pahasoo ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, JK raamatuid.ee's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Bartoli came free, but Avo Veldermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, JK raamatuid.ee's Avo Veldermann got control of the ball when Tadeo Abarca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dan Raag hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, The Old Boys's Angelo Meder got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the game, The Old Boys's Tadeo Abarca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Avo Veldermann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 45 played minutes JK raamatuid.ee got a freekick which was hit by Dan Raag. Tadeo Abarca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Avo Veldermann made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tadeo Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avo Veldermann having to interfere. Vicente Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonatan Pahasoo in the 57th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Edgardo Bartoli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Avo Veldermann. JK raamatuid.ee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Bartoli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 75th minute, Tadeo Abarca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Old Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Avo Veldermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Mingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villu Joon lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Leonel Iratzeder didn't quite understand what happened when in the 82 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 93rd minute Tadeo Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avo Veldermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Edgardo Bartoli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Avo Veldermann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Old Boys had played much better football throughout.
