The referee ignored Kopparmora BK's protests and gave Axel Söderberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Kopparmora BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. FC Lutanu's Irinel Grozăvescu got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes FC Lutanu got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Geambașu. Ştefan Gârniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Ryberg in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Denis Sitaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lutanu and the Kopparmora BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, FC Lutanu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Sitaru to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Kopparmora BK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Filip Ryberg made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Kopparmora BK got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Åke Hedström. The crowd rose to their feet as Kopparmora BK's Edmund Wallander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ştefan Gârniceanu. That made the score 0-3 after 60 minutes of play.
