The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilton Bittencourt got free with Aleksander Smefeldt in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Nilton Bittencourt in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bloodthirsty FC's goalie prevented a goal. Holger Lindholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Sousa having to interfere. Eddie Jernberg charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddie Jernberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Jernberg. Aleksander Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Eddie Jernberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alf Eliasson charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Eliasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. Aleksander Smefeldt was a little too slow when Deivid Moreira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-0. 40 minutes into the match, Humberto Botelho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aleksander Smefeldt, 4-0.

Aleksander Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksander Smefeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Moreira in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 minutes of play Bloodthirsty FC's Alf Eliasson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Alf Eliasson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Bloodthirsty FC's Gunnar Björnberg in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aleksander Smefeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Moreira in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Nilton Bittencourt made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleksander Smefeldt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Mårtensson to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Deivid Moreira notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Bloodthirsty FC's Aleksander Smefeldt. Aleksander Smefeldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deivid Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aleksander Smefeldt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deivid Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Aleksander Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Adhemar Pinho made a precise shot to the right of Aleksander Smefeldt. Bloodthirsty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 87th minute Humberto Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Smefeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, André Vides had to leave the field with a concussion. When Peter Pihlgren fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bloodthirsty FC's protests and gave Peter Pihlgren a yellow card for diving instead. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
