Deivid Moreira started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Pankracy Huk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Sebastian Sienkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 2kC Poznań fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of 2kC Poznań booed when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Bittencourt. After some careless play in the 2kC Poznań defense, Deivid Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Izydor Pilipiec. The 2kC Poznań fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Izydor Pilipiec should have stopped the shot. Nilton Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Izydor Pilipiec made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Michal Latocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cacá Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Latocha in the 35th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Michal Latocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cacá Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Sienkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes of play, 2kC Poznań's Bartlomiej Nikodemski made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cacá Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Michal Latocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

With an all-out effort, 2kC Poznań's Cacá Sousa threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Michal Latocha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Sienkowski in the 54th minute of play. Cacá Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Latocha in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cacá Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Sienkowski. With a little luck, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa got control of the ball when Sebastian Sienkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ booed when 2kC Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Kolbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to 2kC Poznań getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sebastian Sienkowski hit a great ball. In the 71st match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Meireles to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Sebastian Sienkowski sped through Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cacá Sousa. Izydor Pilipiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Anselmo Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a 2kC Poznań's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. Anselmo Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Bartlomiej Nikodemski took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cacá Sousa. Cacá Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching 2kC Poznań's performance. The match ended with a win for 2kC Poznań.
