In the 7th minute Rafal Piekarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Smefeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Modliszewski came free, but Aleksander Smefeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes, Henrik Brander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bloodthirsty FC and the 2kC Poznań players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Henrik Brander hit a great ball. Aleksander Smefeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 2kC Poznań. After some careless play in the Bloodthirsty FC defense, Michal Latocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksander Smefeldt. The Bloodthirsty FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksander Smefeldt should have stopped the shot. If Bo-Erik Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunnar Björnberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Aleksander Smefeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Sienkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. But to his dismay, Bo-Erik Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Aleksander Smefeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Latocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Lucjan Soroka fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 2kC Poznań's protests and gave Lucjan Soroka a yellow card for diving instead. Aleksander Smefeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Latocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Aleksander Smefeldt was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Sebastian Sienkowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Sienkowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Aleksander Smefeldt made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Michal Latocha sent off a good shot on target. Aleksander Smefeldt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michal Latocha in the 94th minute. 2kC Poznań played a much better game than Bloodthirsty FC and deserved their victory. The Bloodthirsty FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
