Sebastian Istodor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mariano Cloyo. Olivos AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Olivos AFC's zone, Calistrat Şerbănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Cloyo came out of the goal and Calistrat Şerbănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Istodor took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Cloyo. Mariano Cloyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 32nd minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Şerbănescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mariano Cloyo. Mariano Cloyo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Calistrat Şerbănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Olivos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Cârlan came free, but Mariano Cloyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Damian Cârlan notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Olivos AFC's Mariano Cloyo. Mariano Cloyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filomeno Abadia to make the kick off. Mariano Cloyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Cârlan's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Mariano Cloyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Cârlan in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivos AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Cloyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olivos AFC's Mariano Cloyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Şerbănescu in the 79th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Damian Cârlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivos AFC's Mariano Cloyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Damian Cârlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
