A collision led to C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Edelmiro Tercero hit a great ball. Americo Crispo scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dagoberto Nogueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amado Farias in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dagoberto Nogueira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Santana was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Corderro in the 53rd minute of play forced S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Dagoberto Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
