The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelo Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauan Penha got free with Kazimierz Nowakowski in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Budzynski came free, but Dagoberto Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Penha to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Penha might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kazimierz Nowakowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cauan Penha ran back to his position shaking his head. Kazimierz Nowakowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cauan Penha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Wincenty Faron managed to get in a good position for a shot. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincenty Faron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Gil Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Nowakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maksymilian Cupial hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Adilson Monteiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dagoberto Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Zbydniowski in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Norbert Budzynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Budzynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adilson Monteiro's late challenge caught a SMOCZANKA MIELEC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adilson Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marek Ziomkowski got free with Dagoberto Nogueira in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Marek Ziomkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marek Ziomkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Marek Ziomkowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dagoberto Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Kazimierz Nowakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gil Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kazimierz Nowakowski was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 74 played minutes S O B E R A N O CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Monteiro. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Norbert Budzynski got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marek Ziomkowski had several of the S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Dagoberto Nogueira as he didn't even see the shot coming. Wesley Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Sebastian Zbydniowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dagoberto Nogueira. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 90th minute, Edu Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marek Ziomkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded SMOCZANKA MIELEC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S O B E R A N O CIMZ.
