Zenaido Urtiaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siro Elazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Sarmiento de Resistencia's Siro Elazar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Simon Criston kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Benigno Manilan got control of the ball when Gonzales Alfeiran tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilllermo Llamosas to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Siro Elazar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Elazar in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Mateus to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Sarmiento de Resistencia defense, Quinito Folch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Manilan. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Manilan should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Siro Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenaido Urtiaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Elazar in the 44th minute of play. Siro Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quinito Folch was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Braulio Ourente hit a great ball. Gabriel Almarza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benigno Manilan. Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zenaido Urtiaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Siro Elazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Zenaido Urtiaran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the game, Basilio Mateus lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Zenaido Urtiaran. 72 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Siro Elazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenaido Urtiaran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Zenaido Urtiaran managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Sarmiento de Resistencia's Siro Elazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo City Torque's zone, Siro Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenaido Urtiaran came out of the goal and Siro Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braulio Ourente charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Ourente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo City Torque from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the game, Gabriel Almarza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montevideo City Torque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento de Resistencia the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Almarza to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Florencio Sarmiento hit a great ball. Benigno Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinito Folch in the 90th minute of the match. Benigno Manilan came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Montevideo City Torque's Quinito Folch. But to his dismay, Quinito Folch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Sarmiento during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Florencio Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Siro Elazar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zenaido Urtiaran firmly grabbed it by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sarmiento de Resistencia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
