When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Siro Elazar put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mariusz Michnik. The crowd rose to their feet as Basilio Mateus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mariusz Michnik. That made the score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Siro Elazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Braulio Ourente got a free kick in the 51st minute. Mariusz Michnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Mateus in the 64th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Siro Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Michnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sarmiento de Resistencia's Siro Elazar in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Sarmiento de Resistencia's protests and gave Siro Elazar a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Elazar in the 89th minute of play forced LKS Wisła Szczucin's goalkeeper Mariusz Michnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Basilio Mateus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Michnik was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. LKS Wisła Szczucin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
