The supporters of Supreme FC booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christodoulos Vazakas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Supreme FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Conny Mårtensson hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Björn Sjö ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manos Papaiakovou was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Manos Papaiakovou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Manos Papaiakovou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arvid Gulliksson went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Arvid Gulliksson made a precise shot to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. Go Ahead Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience was convinced that Björn Sjö's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manos Papaiakovou was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Kjell Ljungberg charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Ljungberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Moustos in the 37th minute of play forced Supreme FC's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Arne Persson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Panagiotis Bourousis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 39 minute of play. The Go Ahead Eagles players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Supreme FC were winning 2-3.

The wind increased when Panagiotis Bourousis made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Björn Sjö took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Manos Papaiakovou to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Bourousis in the 66th minute of play forced Supreme FC's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Supreme FC's Björn Sjö ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manos Papaiakovou. Manos Papaiakovou yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Supreme FC made a substitution. Kjell-Arne Julin replaced Kjell Ljungberg. Supreme FC made a substitution. Martin Jonasson replaced Joacim Collin. The Supreme FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Supreme FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
