João Carlos Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. The Peluchita Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Rexino should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Carlos Britto made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Rius during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes Peluchita Fc got a freekick which was hit by Roque Rius. After a defensive mix-up in Peluchita Fc's zone, João Carlos Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Rexino came out of the goal and João Carlos Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Humberto Manilan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peluchita Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Manilan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fellipe Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Manilan in the 74th minute of play. Fellipe Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Manilan, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Humberto Manilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Carlos Britto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Arnaldo Rexino made a huge save.
