In the 5th match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yann Saillet to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Yazid Debuire notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader. Damian Toader was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guillaume Barillot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Toader having to make a save. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Purcaresti CSS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Côme Durieu was slow to take the kick. During this time Saint Côme de Fresné's players had a chance to rest. Gigi Drăgan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noël Clenet having to make a save. Yazid Debuire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Toader having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match Saint Côme de Fresné got a corner. Purcaresti CSS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Côme Durieu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Guillaume Barillot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader did a great save. When Saint Côme de Fresné's Guillaume Barillot in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Purcaresti CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Damian Toader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillaume Barillot, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Yazid Debuire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Damian Toader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillaume Barillot made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Iustin Videanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillaume Barillot in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Toader prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Simon Mertz. After 66 minutes, Andrei Tirulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purcaresti CSS and the Saint Côme de Fresné players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrei Tirulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Barillot came free, but Damian Toader reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Yazid Debuire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Toader was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 75 minutes into the match, Saint Côme de Fresné's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Timaru came free, but Noël Clenet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Guillaume Barillot hit a great ball. Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Purcaresti CSS from getting a goal against them. Guillaume Barillot struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Damian Toader didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint Côme de Fresné. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Damian Toader successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gigi Drăgan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purcaresti CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigi Drăgan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noël Clenet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saint Côme de Fresné eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
