The Vanadio F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Balavanis were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorel Tărâţă made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Christian Arratia notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Balavanis's Emanuel Goiciu. Emanuel Goiciu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cugat Cardet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Tărâţă, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Balavanis's Irinel Vărzaru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cugat Cardet. Cugat Cardet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Manole Chiper hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The Vanadio F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Vanadio F.C.'s Christian Arratia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 72 minutes into the game, Benjamin Lemos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vanadio F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balavanis the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vanadio F.C.'s Benjamin Lemos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Tărâţă in the 80th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Cugat Cardet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Abaunza during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Abaunza. With an all-out effort, Balavanis's Cugat Cardet threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dacian Macamete, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 86 minutes of play, Vanadio F.C.'s Christian Arratia made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Goiciu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vanadio F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
