Emanuel Goiciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilmar de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Cléber Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléber Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Goiciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the game, Petre Țepeluș recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Doriva Saraiva. Emanuel Goiciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamim Freitas went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Doriva Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Teodoreanu in the 36th minute of the match. Doriva Saraiva made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mihai Teodoreanu sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Goiciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balavanis's Emanuel Goiciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Azevedo in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cléber Azevedo to make the kick off.
