The referee ignored Sporting Buceo's protests and gave Guido Arizabal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Guido Arizabal hit a great ball. Bartuelo Masferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Rareș Lucian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gaspar Verastegui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ximen Rosser hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Valer Şoimu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtungo Ramin to maneuver through the defense. 2-2 became the score in the 38th minute when Laffitte Rioz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Bartuelo Masferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rareș Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Rareș Lucian came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gaspar Verastegui could save by the left post. With a little luck, Sporting Buceo's Gaspar Verastegui got control of the ball when Rareș Lucian tried to sneak it across the goal line.
