After 5 minutes of play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Jorge Pimentel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şerif Sarbay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Şerif Sarbay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Duarte in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute, Rolando Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Şerif Sarbay. Sessiz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Sessiz's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Pimentel came free, but Şerif Sarbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Adolfo Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şerif Sarbay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafettin Cerit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Ortiz got free with Şerif Sarbay in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Şerif Sarbay throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jorge Pimentel in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Şerif Sarbay came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid de Guatemala's Wilmer Gutierrez. But to his dismay, Wilmer Gutierrez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Sessiz's Şerif Sarbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Duarte in the 43rd minute of play. When Adolfo Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid de Guatemala's protests and gave Adolfo Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Real Madrid de Guatemala got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Duarte. Şerif Sarbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Jorge Pimentel notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Sessiz's Şerif Sarbay. Şerif Sarbay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Real Madrid de Guatemala booed when Sessiz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Makul didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Rolando Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid de Guatemala's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şerif Sarbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şerif Sarbay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Pimentel went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Real Madrid de Guatemala made a substitution. Mauro Sosa replaced Julio Villacorta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Ortiz in the 72nd minute of play forced Sessiz's goalkeeper Şerif Sarbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şerif Sarbay came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid de Guatemala's Jorge Pimentel. But to his dismay, Jorge Pimentel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 76 minutes into the match, Sessiz's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Pimentel came free, but Şerif Sarbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Sessiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Makul to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute of the match Benjamín Medrano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şerif Sarbay skillfully saved the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Rolando Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Şerif Sarbay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Ortiz took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şerif Sarbay. Şerif Sarbay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. When the referee ended the match the Real Madrid de Guatemala players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
