Germano Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Germano Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sílvio Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jukatriz's protests and gave Sílvio Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Jukatriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Branco having to interfere. Germano Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Jimenez in the 24th minute. Mauro Sosa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match, Ivan Ramos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Germano Branco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 29th minute, Ivan Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Germano Branco. Jukatriz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. João Vítor Paraibano hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Jukatriz's Germano Branco got control of the ball when Ivan Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Ramos was the one to do the kick off. Germano Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Padilla in the 55th minute of play. Oswaldo Moura's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Shawn Cruz firmly grabbed it by the left post. 63 minutes into the game, Enrique Padilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Germano Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilmer Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilmer Gutierrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Real Madrid de Guatemala got a freekick which was hit by Wilmer Gutierrez. Ricardinho Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Shawn Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Jukatriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Germano Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Padilla in the 80th minute of play. Enrique Padilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germano Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Jimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Dudu Vieira hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Shawn Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Real Madrid de Guatemala from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Jukatriz getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. João Vítor Paraibano hit a great ball. Jukatriz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
