Walter Sala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Rexino in the 6th minute of the match. Walter Sala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Jakue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Heriberto's late challenge caught a Ornopata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Heriberto helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Magicos got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Heriberto. If Moreno Conti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Paco Marine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes, Marquez Castruita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ornopata and the Magicos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Magicos booed when Ornopata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquez Castruita didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Rexino in the 23rd minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Walter Sala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th play minute Moises Jakue came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Walter Sala. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Abel during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Magicos! In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Ornopata. Moreno Conti stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos James. 1-1. In the 38th minute, Magicos's Flavio Urtzi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 41st minute, Laureano Heriberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Sala was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 45 minutes into the match, Ornopata's goalkeeper Walter Sala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severo Rexino. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moreno Conti was the one to do the kick off. If Severo Rexino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Moises Jakue left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magicos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 62 minutes into the game, Magicos's Moises Jakue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Sala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 66 minutes into the match, Magicos's Laureano Heriberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walter Sala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moreno Conti in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos James prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Ornopata's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Jakue came free, but Walter Sala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Sala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Rexino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Moises Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magicos's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Jakue was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Sala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
