Fire Devils's Billy Waller got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santo Shantala made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Dave Drescher sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to 1989 Blxsk getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Venancio Pancho hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Venancio Pancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Schnyder was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When 1989 Blxsk's Venancio Pancho in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The 1989 Blxsk fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when 1989 Blxsk's Venancio Pancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 42 minutes, Venancio Pancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1989 Blxsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Pancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Venancio Pancho in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Schnyder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 48 minutes of play, 1989 Blxsk's Venancio Pancho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Schnyder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Pancho to make the kick off. When Billy Waller fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fire Devils's protests and gave Billy Waller a yellow card for diving instead. Venancio Pancho struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Vladimir Schnyder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1989 Blxsk. Vladimir Schnyder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Venancio Pancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 78 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Venancio Pancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Vladimir Schnyder to make any attempt to save it. Santo Shantala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Drescher, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dave Drescher hit a great ball. Vladimir Schnyder made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Venancio Pancho sent off a good shot on target. 1989 Blxsk's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
