Sonny Eks short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Ainārs Dublis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ainārs Dublis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnold Bruggink showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. After some careless play in the Black horses defense, Arnold Bruggink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ainārs Dublis. The Black horses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ainārs Dublis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brencis Tanbergs in the 15th minute of play forced Älta BK's goalkeeper Hjalmar Hedvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes, Ilmārs Barčas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black horses and the Älta BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Stan Valckx in the 27th minute really tested Ainārs Dublis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Arnold Bruggink notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Black horses's Ainārs Dublis. Ainārs Dublis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sonny Ek got free with Ainārs Dublis in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Arnold Bruggink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Ek spun around in front of the goal 44 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Black horses's goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edžus Prenas during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Black horses's Edžus Prenas got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ainārs Dublis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Ek in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Brencis Tanbergs notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Älta BK's Hjalmar Hedvall. Hjalmar Hedvall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brencis Tanbergs during the 88th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ainārs Dublis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Älta BK reached it. In the 92nd minute, Edžus Prenas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Black horses getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Brencis Tanbergs hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Älta BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Black horses had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
