The supporters of MZKS Sharks Gdynia booed when Black horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uģis Juberts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeusz Wietrzychowski, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mateusz Gdaniec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurts Skripals, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Krišs Ķimene notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Mateusz Gdaniec. Mateusz Gdaniec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patryk Dynda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ainārs Dublis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateusz Gdaniec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brencis Tanbergs in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Ilmārs Barčas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black horses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Black horses's Ilmārs Barčas got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ainārs Dublis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Bielejewski in the 18th minute of play. Kurts Skripals kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Black horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilmārs Barčas to maneuver through the defense. Mateusz Gdaniec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brencis Tanbergs in the 25th minute of play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Krišs Ķimene might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateusz Gdaniec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krišs Ķimene ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurts Skripals in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateusz Gdaniec saved MZKS Sharks Gdynia from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patryk Dynda was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Lukasz Bielejewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-4 became the score in the 55th minute when Brencis Tanbergs elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Black horses's Kurts Skripals in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Mateusz Gdaniec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krišs Ķimene, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Lukasz Bielejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Kurts Skripals got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateusz Gdaniec made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Kurts Skripals sent off a good shot on target. When Black horses's Kurts Skripals in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 93 played minutes Kurts Skripals rounded MZKS Sharks Gdynia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. Black horses's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
