After 12 minutes of play, Älta BK's Lars-Erik Brogren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karolis Badauskas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Älta BK booed when Absoliut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modestas Merkelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karolis Badauskas came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Älta BK's Sonny Ek. But to his dismay, Sonny Ek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Skirmantas Skrebys hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Karolis Badauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Vesterberg in the 21st minute of play. Sonny Ek struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Karolis Badauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älta BK. Karolis Badauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Modestas Merkelis to strike the kick off in the second half. Älta BK's Hjalmar Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigitas Barasa in the 56th minute of play. When Sonny Ek came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Älta BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sonny Ek couldn't finish the play. Älta BK made a substitution. Alexander Öberg replaced Nils-Emil Engman. When Oscar Dalkvist fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älta BK's protests and gave Oscar Dalkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Älta BK got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Dalkvist. After 65 played minutes, Absoliut's Sigitas Barasa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hjalmar Hedvall came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Absoliut reached it. In the 69th minute Lars-Erik Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karolis Badauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Absoliut's goalkeeper Karolis Badauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sonny Ek. Sonny Ek took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karolis Badauskas. Karolis Badauskas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The supporters of Absoliut booed when Älta BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Brogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Absoliut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kęstutis Murauskis to maneuver through the defense. Modestas Merkelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Älta BK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
