The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edoardo Pelati helped the player get up and apologised. Edoardo Pelati kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Andrea Tocchetto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marco Ostargi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Kevin Keegan managed to get in a good position for a shot. GUSESI's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Keegan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Concetto Vasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute of the match, Kevin Keegan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Concetto Vasco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eustacio Quinten hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Celso Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Castronovo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Baltasar Marquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Concetto Vasco came out and tried to block the shot, but Baltasar Marquez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute Baltasar Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Galante to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Galante in the 56th minute of play forced GUSESI's goalkeeper Celso Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Dave Galante got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61stth minute of the game Baltasar Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Concetto Vasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Anthony Tonon got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dave Galante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Celso Oto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cipriano Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Anfilogino Tenaglia fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S. Ian Fenomeni's protests and gave Anfilogino Tenaglia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to A.S. Ian Fenomeni getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Anfilogino Tenaglia hit a great ball. Tiburcio Cuartio made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Diego De Lorenzi. After 94 played minutes A.S. Ian Fenomeni got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Pelati. In the 95th minute Tiburcio Cuartio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
