The supporters of Utopía Muerta FC booed when Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvain De Raeijmaeker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Stanny Helssens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Fix scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emmanuel Meersman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Placido Abaunza struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Emmanuel Meersman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Utopía Muerta FC. A collision led to Kickers United getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Edgard Raymaekers hit a great ball. Emmanuel Meersman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Fix in the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Frans Moerman. After a rather tough play, Kickers United's Jannic Van Cruchten got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute, Narciso Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kickers United's Silvain De Raeijmaeker in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Utopía Muerta FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Simon Cheepers fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kickers United's protests and gave Simon Cheepers a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kickers United getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Stanny Helssens hit a great ball. Kickers United's Emmanuel Meersman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Kickers United from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanny Helssens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Kickers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvain De Raeijmaeker to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Maxime Uytterhaegen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
