Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Stanny Helssens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes, Gregory Verhelst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kickers United and the GUSESI players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kevin Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Emmanuel Meersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanny Helssens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmanuel Meersman came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by GUSESI's Baltasar Marquez. But to his dismay, Baltasar Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Jannic Van Cruchten came free, but Celso Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to GUSESI getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Baltasar Marquez hit a great ball. GUSESI's Celso Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannic Van Cruchten in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Jannic Van Cruchten came free, but Celso Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannic Van Cruchten scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Oto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th match minute, GUSESI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Refugio to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Keegan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emmanuel Meersman firmly grabbed it by the left post. Emmanuel Meersman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Keegan in the 31st minute. Kevin Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Emmanuel Meersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jannic Van Cruchten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Celso Oto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltasar Marquez to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jannic Van Cruchten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kickers United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jannic Van Cruchten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Oto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Cheepers was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the game, one of Kickers United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for GUSESI. Tiburcio Cuartio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emmanuel Meersman. 2-2. Celso Oto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jannic Van Cruchten's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Silvain De Raeijmaeker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jannic Van Cruchten in the 73rd minute of play forced GUSESI's goalkeeper Celso Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emmanuel Meersman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. GUSESI's Celso Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannic Van Cruchten in the 84th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Silvain De Raeijmaeker in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After recieving a nice pass, GUSESI's Tiburcio Cuartio tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eustacio Quinten kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Jannic Van Cruchten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kickers United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4.
