Grigore Bota took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dani Rapino. Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polo Bellogin in the 28th minute of play forced THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goalkeeper Paul Piersic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Dani Rapino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Balc in the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matei Udrescu to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Basarab Balc dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dani Rapino, 2-1. In the 57th minute Mendoza Vinuesa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Piersic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Real Guayaquil.F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Polo Bellogin hit a great ball. Narciso Vincens kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Polo Bellogin took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Piersic. Paul Piersic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Dani Rapino made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Basarab Balc sent off a good shot on target. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Paul Piersic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Rocafort in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for THE CRYSTAL SHIP! In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Real Guayaquil.F.C.. Polo Bellogin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paul Piersic. 4-1. Paul Piersic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mendoza Vinuesa in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Polo Bellogin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Piersic was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Guayaquil.F.C. fully deserved thier win.
