Polo Bellogin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Washington Baiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Urrutia Iruretagoyena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. When Thomás Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinho FC's protests and gave Thomás Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. Dannes Asuaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mendoza Vinuesa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Washington Baiano made a huge save. Washington Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urrutia Iruretagoyena in the 18th minute of the match. Urrutia Iruretagoyena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Washington Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dani Rapino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Gaúcho in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Polo Bellogin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Washington Baiano. Washington Baiano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 37 minutes into the match, Chinho FC's goalkeeper Washington Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Rocafort. After 38 played minutes Chinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Nóbrega. Mendoza Vinuesa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Washington Baiano made a huge save. A collision led to Real Guayaquil.F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Valentim Aliprando hit a great ball. Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Dani Rapino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José Gaúcho in the 43rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Urrutia Iruretagoyena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chinho FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Urrutia Iruretagoyena got a free kick in the 44th minute. With 47 minutes on the clock, Thomás Maranhense commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Chinho FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Guayaquil.F.C.:s goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ricardo Tasso made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Chinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Prata to maneuver through the defense.
