In the 5th minute Georg Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Giacomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes, Ennio Catena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Collins and the Baxters Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, AC Collins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Catena to maneuver through the defense. Frank Rinaldi charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cristoforo Giacomini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baxters Boys. After 39 minutes of play, Baxters Boys's Edmund Olsman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Giacomini was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Frank Rinaldi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Klint stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cosimo Scevola helped the player get up and apologised. Edmund Olsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cristoforo Giacomini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Alexander Klint recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristoforo Giacomini. Alexander Klint showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After 93 played minutes AC Collins got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Trentini. The AC Collins supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Baxters Boys's performance. The match ended with a win for Baxters Boys.
