Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dráusio Toscano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mauro Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Toscano in the 2nd minute of play. Marcial Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Benedito Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leones FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dráusio Toscano 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Antonio Beltxe hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kauã Damião struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Mauro Bastia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galo do Japi. 16 minutes into the game, Pedro Nuno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benedito Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Leones FC's Mauro Bastia got control of the ball when Luís Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Inguma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo do Japi the free kick. Galo do Japi's Kauã Damião shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mauro Bastia but with some difficulty. Leones FC's Mauro Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Toscano in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Toscano in the 26th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Mauro Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Leones FC's Mauro Bastia got control of the ball when Ademir Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Nascimento in the 36th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Beltxe. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Mauro Bastia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ademir Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Baldomiro Inguma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráusio Toscano came free, but Mauro Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Leones FC defense, Fábio Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Bastia. The Leones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Bastia should have stopped the shot. Leones FC's Mauro Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Alagoano in the 61st minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, Galo do Japi's Fábio Nascimento made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Bastia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Ademir Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Bastia. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. In the 78th minute, Dudu Alagoano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Bastia was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Mauro Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Nuno kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Bibiano. When Dudu Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Galo do Japi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Alagoano couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Alagoano in the 93rd minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Mauro Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galo do Japi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
