Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raymond Johnston started the match with the kick off. Alberigo Di Nucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 4 minutes, Tim Charles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rangers FC and the Dexter Morgan VR46 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Tim Charles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the game, Patrick Sporran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rangers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dexter Morgan VR46 the free kick. Diego Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Fergus Fairbairn made a huge save. When Raymond Johnston came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Rangers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymond Johnston couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bradley Carr hit a great ball. After 12th play minutes Logan McCubbin shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Davide Cavaliere and just under the crossbar into goal. 24 minutes into the game, Frank Sammartino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dexter Morgan VR46's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rangers FC the free kick. A collision led to Dexter Morgan VR46 getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Frank Sammartino hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes, Rangers FC's Shane Lansdale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Davide Cavaliere came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rangers FC reached it. Dexter Morgan VR46's Davide Cavaliere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Logan McCubbin in the 30th minute of play. Rangers FC's Logan McCubbin got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Tyler McCraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Cavaliere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's Logan McCubbin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davide Cavaliere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's goal looked a bit too open when Logan McCubbin came free, but Davide Cavaliere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Raymond Johnston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davide Cavaliere was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franco Penna was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raymond Johnston got free with Davide Cavaliere in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Davide Cavaliere made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Raymond Johnston sent off a good shot on target. If Raymond Johnston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Darius Bontine. Logan McCubbin succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. During the 80th minute of the match Patrick Sporran completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Patrick Sporran a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Dexter Morgan VR46 booed when Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Sporran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 minutes, Ettore Treglia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dexter Morgan VR46 and the Rangers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ettore Treglia kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Logan McCubbin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davide Cavaliere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Logan McCubbin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Logan McCubbin came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Rangers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Logan McCubbin couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rangers FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
