Severino Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Logan McCubbin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Severino Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Gilespie in the 20th minute of play. Danny Gilespie scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Aguiar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Christian Monteiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severino Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Raymond Johnston sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Christian Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Red John S.K booed when Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Johnston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reginaldo Donatello in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fergus Fairbairn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Patrick Sporran got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Nilmar Berger was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. A collision led to Red John S.K getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nilmar Berger hit a great ball. Severino Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyler McCraw, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Luís Paulo Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red John S.K's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Paulo Zonta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fergus Fairbairn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rangers FC's zone, Reginaldo Donatello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fergus Fairbairn came out of the goal and Reginaldo Donatello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Paulo Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Donatello notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Júnior Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergus Fairbairn having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
