Esbjörn Drake hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Dragões de Campo Grande's José Maria Coutinho got a free kick in the 12th minute. Viggo Vallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Coutinho in the 15th minute of the match. Thomás Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Henrik Söder hit a great ball. Sven-Ove Dahlgren charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Ove Dahlgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Sven-Ove Dahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 30 minutes on the clock, Leif Wikander commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leif Wikander hit a great ball. Mateus Andrade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viggo Vallin. Mean Machine's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 38th minute, José Maria Coutinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viggo Vallin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomás Montenegro to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Henrik Söder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mean Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Söder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Malmgren in the 58th minute of play forced Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Hugo Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's Sven-Ove Dahlgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patric Mattsson in the 72nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kåre Malmgren in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Sven-Ove Dahlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Johan Rudberg hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute José Maria Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Vallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Malmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes in the game, Kåre Malmgren dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Kåre Malmgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragões de Campo Grande's Hugo Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Barral to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Drake to maneuver through the defense. José Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viggo Vallin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
