Tommy Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Almeida having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Brasiliense FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Toledo. Viggo Vallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Goiano in the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fábio Goiano to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Luís Fábio Goiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viggo Vallin. Mean Machine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Fábio Goiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Henrik Söder replaced Kåre Malmgren. Tommy Hedlund hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Söder in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovanni Almeida saved Brasiliense FC from getting behind. Didi Tavares hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Henrik Söder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mean Machine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 80thth minute of the game Henrik Söder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brasiliense FC's Geovanni Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Douglas Västerstrand got a free kick in the 81st minute. Brasiliense FC's Didi Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Henrik Söder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Söder came free, but Geovanni Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Västerstrand to maneuver through the defense.
